Putin Praises Russia’s Space Forces for Protecting National Security

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that military and civilian personnel serving in Russia’s Space Forces carry out important tasks to safeguard the country’s security.

His remarks highlighted the role of those working in the space domain, placing their duties within the broader effort to protect Russia.

Putin’s acknowledgment extended to both uniformed service members and civilian staff, recognizing the contribution of each to the force’s work.

The comments framed space-related operations as an important part of national security, with responsibilities that extend beyond Russia’s territory on Earth.
