Flydubai flight makes emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after security incident

A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Ben Gurion International Airport was diverted to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday following a security incident on board, the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority said.

Flight FZ1073 had departed Dubai International Airport and was heading to Ben Gurion when the incident prompted a change of route.

The aircraft made an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. The authority said the security incident had been brought under control.
