Iraq Awaits Advanced Air Defences and Radar Systems

Iraq is awaiting the arrival of advanced air defence systems and precision radar equipment to strengthen its defensive capabilities, according to Sabah al-Numan, spokesman for the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi armed forces.

Al-Numan said the anticipated equipment includes medium- and long-range radars, alongside advanced systems designed for air defence.

The expected deliveries also include missile systems intended to counter incoming missiles and drones, adding capabilities against different types of airborne threats.

The announcement did not specify a delivery timetable, the suppliers involved or the number of systems Iraq expects to receive.
