Netanyahu Warns of Attacks Ahead of Elections, Vows Response

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Tuesday of possible attacks as elections approach, threatening to strike those he described as “Israel’s enemies.”

Speaking from Tel Nof air base, Netanyahu said Israel had indications that attacks could be launched against it in the run-up to the vote.

He said Israel could reach its enemies “anywhere and at any time,” coupling his warning about potential threats with a pledge to respond.
