Father Hanna Kildani: Jordan Will Overcome Hamoud Church Attack Crisis

Father Hanna Kildani, a member of the Council of Priests and the Advisory Council in Jordan, expressed confidence that Jordanians would overcome the repercussions of the armed attack at Hamoud Church in Karak governorate.

The attack targeted mourners attending a funeral inside the church, killing seven people and injuring 34 others.

Kildani stressed that national unity remains the foundation of life in the kingdom, placing it at the centre of his message following the attack.

His remarks conveyed confidence in Jordanians’ ability to move beyond the crisis, with national cohesion providing the basis for confronting its consequences.
