State Land Recovery Campaigns Continue in Egypt’s New Cities

Egypt’s new city authorities are continuing campaigns to reclaim state-owned land and address encroachments and other violations.

Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Minister Randa El-Menshawy followed up on the efforts of several new city development authorities involved in the campaigns.

The work includes on-site monitoring and field inspections to track encroachments and violations across the cities concerned.

The update did not identify the cities involved or provide figures for land recovered, violations recorded or enforcement measures taken.
