Gas Line Explosion Knocks Three Syrian Power Stations Out of Service

Three power generation stations in Syria have gone out of service following an explosion on a gas line at Tishreen station, the Syrian Electricity Company announced.

The shutdown affected the Deir Ali, Nasiriyah and Tishreen stations after the blast disrupted the gas supplies needed to operate them.

The company linked the loss of generation at all three facilities to the interruption in fuel deliveries caused by the explosion.
