Egypt shares e-invoicing and tax development experience with Qatar

Egypt is sharing its experience in electronic invoicing and tax system development with Qatar, as Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk participates in an international gathering in Doha.

Kouchouk’s participation is in the annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, hosted by the Qatari capital on September 28 and 29, 2026.

The exchange with Qatar focuses on Egypt’s experience with electronic invoices and efforts to develop its tax administration, bringing a tax policy dimension to the minister’s visit.
