North Korea Denies Seoul’s Accusations Over DMZ Mine Blasts

North Korea on Wednesday rejected Seoul’s accusations that it was responsible for two landmine explosions in the demilitarized zone last week.

The blasts injured three South Korean soldiers. One of the wounded soldiers had a leg amputated.

Seoul blamed North Korea for the explosions, describing the incident as a “flagrant violation of the armistice agreement.”

Pyongyang denied responsibility for the blasts, disputing the accusation over the incident in the zone separating the two Koreas.
