Cairo Chamber Continues Committee Meetings on Trade Division Development

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, headed by Ayman El-Ashry, is continuing meetings of its liaison committee to discuss plans for developing its trade divisions.

In an October 2026 update, the chamber said it remained on heightened alert to follow up on demands and proposals from divisions representing different business sectors.

The liaison committee held a meeting as part of that continuing effort. Its discussions centre on the divisions’ development plans and the issues they have raised with the chamber.

The update did not provide details of specific proposals, decisions or a timetable for implementing changes.
