Obama Takes Aim at Trump While Campaigning for Democrats Ahead of Midterms

Former US President Barack Obama criticized President Donald Trump’s administration as he campaigned for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.

“These elections are our last, best chance to rein in some of the foolishness being committed by this administration,” Obama said.

The former president’s remarks framed the vote as an opportunity to curb the administration’s actions, making opposition to Trump a central part of his campaign message.

By describing the elections as a “last, best chance,” Obama underscored the urgency of his appeal for Democratic support ahead of the vote.
