Ahmed El-Wakil: Egypt Is a Gateway for African Trade and Investment

Ahmed El-Wakil described Egypt as a gateway for trade and investment in Africa, stressing that the private sector is a key partner.

His remarks came as the Alamein Africa Forum opened today in New Alamein, bringing together high-level participants from government, business and finance.

Leaders, ministers and senior officials attended the event alongside representatives of the business community and financial and investment institutions.

El-Wakil’s message highlighted Egypt’s role in African commerce and investment, placing the private sector at the heart of that partnership.
