Taraf and Mubadala to Study Waterfront Development on Abu Dhabi’s Al Reem Island

Taraf, the real estate development arm of Yas Holding, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mubadala Investment Company to study a major mixed-use waterfront project on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.

The agreement sets out cooperation between the two companies to examine the proposed development. It represents a study-stage step rather than an announcement that construction will proceed.

The project would form part of an integrated master plan aimed at improving quality of life on the island. Its waterfront location and mixed-use approach are central features of the proposal.

The wider plan also seeks to make movement easier and strengthen urban connections across Al Reem Island, linking the proposed development to broader goals for the island’s growth.
