Egypt seeks more opportunities for private sector in Tanzania, finance minister says

Egypt is seeking to open up and support more opportunities for its private sector in the Tanzanian market, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said.

Kouchouk affirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening economic and financial cooperation with Tanzania, with the aim of broadening ties between the two countries.

He said Egypt was keen to build on the successful partnerships already established between the two sides as a foundation for further cooperation.

The minister’s remarks placed support for Egyptian private-sector opportunities in Tanzania within that wider effort to expand bilateral economic relations.
