Houthis Enter Al-Turbah South of Taiz, Yemeni Sources Say

Yemeni sources reported on Sunday that Houthi forces had entered the city of Al-Turbah, south of Taiz.

According to the sources, the entry followed the flight of a military commander to the city of Aden.

The commander was identified by his position as the head of what is known as the Tur al-Bahah Axis. His name was not given.

The account did not specify the circumstances of the Houthis’ entry or whether fighting took place in the city.
