Egyptian-Zambian Forum in Cairo Explores Trade and Investment Opportunities

The COMESA Regional Investment Agency (RIA) organized an Egyptian-Zambian forum in Cairo to explore trade and investment opportunities and strengthen partnerships between the two countries.

The gathering brought together government officials and representatives of Zambia’s business community, placing public- and private-sector engagement at the center of the discussions.

The forum focused on prospects for closer commercial ties, with trade, investment and partnership-building forming its main agenda.

RIA is affiliated with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, known as COMESA. The Cairo gathering provided a regional setting for discussions on Egyptian-Zambian economic cooperation.
