Egyptian Unity Was Key to October Victory, Says Dar Al-Ifta Official

Dr Ali Fakhr, secretary of fatwa at Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta, said the October victory offered lessons for future generations, highlighting the importance of sound planning, preparation and training.

Fakhr also pointed to the unity of Egyptians as a key to the victory, placing national solidarity alongside the practical work needed to achieve success.

“We reclaimed our rights in broad daylight,” he said, describing the victory in terms of the recovery of rights.

His remarks presented the October victory as more than an event to commemorate, stressing that younger generations could draw valuable lessons from the preparation and shared resolve behind it.
