Cairo Quran Radio to Air Previously Unbroadcast Recitation by Al-Minshawi the Elder

Cairo’s Quran Radio is presenting a rare recording by Sheikh Siddiq Al-Sayyid Al-Minshawi, known as “Al-Minshawi the Elder,” that has never been broadcast before.

The recitation features passages from Surah Al-Anfal and Surah Al-Tawbah, bringing together selections from the two chapters in the reciter’s voice.

Recorded 72 years ago, the performance offers listeners an opportunity to hear a previously unaired example of Al-Minshawi’s Quran recitations.

The announcement did not specify a broadcast time or provide further details about where the recording was made.
