Sinai tribal elder says state development efforts extend to people

Sheikh Nasser Abu Breik, a Sinai tribal elder, said the state’s efforts to develop the peninsula have gone beyond infrastructure and investment in projects to include human development.

His remarks highlighted the human dimension of development, alongside the physical improvements associated with construction and investment.

Abu Breik described the state’s approach as one that encompasses both developing Sinai’s infrastructure and building the capabilities of its people.

The brief statement did not identify specific human development programmes or provide figures on the projects he referenced.
