330,000 Applications Submitted to Regularise State-Owned Land Status

Egypt has received 330,000 applications to regularise the status of state-owned land, according to Dr Saeed Helmy Abdel Khaleq, head of the Planning and Integrated Local Development Sector.

Abdel Khaleq said the state places social considerations among its priorities when handling land regularisation procedures.

His remarks highlighted the social dimension of a process aimed at bringing the status of state-owned land into line with legal requirements.
