Automated summary•6 October 2026 at 22:00
Poet Ibrahim Gamal El-Din El-Touni has announced work on a bibliography of Egyptian short stories covering the period from 2011 to 2026.
The announcement came as part of the fifth Short Story Forum, placing the bibliographic project among the literary gathering’s activities.
The compilation’s stated scope focuses on Egyptian short fiction within that timeframe, rather than a bibliography spanning the genre’s entire history.
The brief announcement did not specify a publication date or explain how entries would be selected and organised.
