South Valley National University Addresses Admissions Capacity Issue

Dr. Abbas Mansour, president of South Valley National University, has outlined an admissions problem involving students accepted into some programmes beyond their designated capacity.

The issue concerns a mismatch between the number of students admitted and the places available in the affected programmes.

Mansour’s explanation addressed over-enrolment, although the matter was initially described as a crisis involving students in university housing. The available summary did not clarify the connection between the two issues.

No figures were provided for the excess admissions, and the affected programmes were not named. The summary also did not specify what measures the university would take to resolve the situation.
