Abu Shama Points to International Support for Yemen’s Legitimate Authorities and Action Against Houthis

Mohamed Mostafa Abu Shama, director of the Strategic Forum for Thought and Dialogue, said international moves were supporting Yemen’s legitimate authorities alongside active measures against the Houthis.

Abu Shama linked his assessment to rapid changes in the operations known as “Dawn of Yemen,” describing developments that he said had taken place that day.

He also referred to reinforcements for the Yemeni army. The available summary of his remarks did not specify their size or source, or where they were being deployed.

His comments framed the developments as involving both international backing and military activity. The summary provided no further details about the international measures or the outcome of the operations.
