Sinai Tribal Leader Says Tunnels Have Ended Isolation as Development Advances

Sheikh Issa al-Kharafin, the chief of Sinai’s tribal leaders, said development work across the peninsula is making significant progress.

Al-Kharafin highlighted the role of tunnels in connecting Sinai with Egypt’s other governorates, saying they had ended the peninsula’s isolation.

His remarks linked improved connections with the wider development effort, which he described as moving ahead at full pace.

The tribal leader’s assessment focused on the progress being made during the current period, without detailing individual projects or completion dates.
