Cairo Chamber Official Denies Rise in Winter Clothing Prices

Khaled Fayed, head of the ready-made garments division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, has denied reports of an increase in winter clothing prices.

Fayed said claims that prices would rise by between 12% and 20% during the coming season were incorrect.

His statement rejected the reported range of increases, rather than announcing a smaller price rise.

The clarification concerns ready-made winter clothing, with Fayed maintaining that the claims of higher seasonal prices were unfounded.
