Reflective Verse and Messages of Love at Sharjah’s House of Poetry

Sharjah’s House of Poetry hosted an evening of verse bringing together poets from Syria, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The participants were Syrian poet Suleiman al-Jaijan, Bahraini poet Sawsan Dahneem and Saudi poet Dr Hani al-Mulhim.

Emotional and contemplative poetry shaped the evening, with messages of love running through the readings.

The gathering brought the three poets’ voices into a shared literary setting, placing personal feeling and reflection at the centre of the programme.
