El Alamein Africa Forum Reflects Egypt’s Focus on Continent, Expert Says

The launch of the first El Alamein Africa Business Forum 2026 reflects Africa’s prominent place on Egypt’s policy agenda, international relations expert Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed said.

Ahmed linked the forum’s inaugural edition to the priority Egypt gives the continent, framing the event as an expression of Cairo’s wider policy focus.

His assessment places the business gathering in a broader diplomatic context, connecting its launch with Egypt’s attention to African affairs.

The forum’s business focus also brings an economic dimension to that relationship. Ahmed’s remarks centered on the significance of the launch rather than specific initiatives or outcomes.
