Khaled El-Gendy: Sahih al-Bukhari Is the Most Authentic Book After the Quran

Sheikh Khaled El-Gendy, a member of Egypt’s Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, described Sahih al-Bukhari as the most authentic book after the Quran, saying this assessment reflected a consensus among Islamic scholars.

El-Gendy also said that entering Paradise requires fulfilling two essential conditions, neither of which can replace the other.

The first, he explained, is obedience to God and listening to His words. The second is following and obeying the Prophet Muhammad.

His remarks stressed that these obligations go together, presenting obedience to God and adherence to the Prophet’s teachings as inseparable requirements for entering Paradise.
