Cairo Book Fair 2027 Plans Lower Rental Fees and Return of Shared Pavilion

The Cairo International Book Fair is preparing to open applications for Egyptian, Arab and foreign publishing houses to participate in its 58th edition in 2027.

Preparations are being led by the fair’s higher committee, with lower rental fees and the return of a shared pavilion among the measures planned to support publishers.

Reducing rental costs would ease the expense of securing exhibition space, while a shared pavilion would offer publishers an alternative to taking individual stands.

The participation drive will cover publishing houses from Egypt, the wider Arab region and abroad as the committee prepares for the next edition.
