Tunisian Novelist Imad Qeida to Receive Khaled Khalifa Prize in Latakia on Wednesday

Tunisian novelist Imad Qeida will receive the Khaled Khalifa Prize for the Novel at a cultural ceremony in the Syrian city of Latakia on Wednesday.

The presentation will form part of a commemoration marking the third anniversary of the death of Syrian novelist Khaled Khalifa.

Khalifa, who was born in 1964 and died in 2023, is remembered through the literary award that bears his name.

The Latakia gathering will bring together the award presentation and the tribute to Khalifa, honouring Qeida’s win while commemorating the late Syrian writer.
