London Exhibition Showcases More Than 100 Rare Works by Moomin Creator

A new exhibition in London is offering a rare look at the life and work of Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomin world.

Featuring more than 100 drawings, the exhibition brings this collection of rare works to audiences in Britain for the first time.

The display shifts attention from Jansson’s widely recognised fictional world to the artist behind it, exploring lesser-known aspects of her life alongside her work.

For visitors familiar with Moomin, the exhibition offers an opportunity to consider Jansson’s drawings in the broader context of her career as both an artist and an author.
