Media and Universities Share Role in Public Awareness, Political Science Professor Says

Egyptian society needs a new approach to communicating with citizens, built on presenting information and data clearly and directly, political science professor Dr. Saeed El-Zoghbi said.

El-Zoghbi highlighted the media and universities as partners in raising public awareness, placing both at the heart of efforts to help citizens understand developments around them.

He said clear communication could strengthen people’s awareness of what is happening on the ground. His remarks focused on how information is presented to the public, rather than simply making it available.

The approach he outlined calls for a culture of communication that addresses citizens directly and makes facts easier to understand.
