October War Spirit Can Help Meet Today’s Challenges, Hisham El-Halaby Says

Major General Pilot Dr. Hisham El-Halaby, an adviser to the Military Academy for Postgraduate Studies, said the spirit of the October War remains relevant to confronting present-day challenges.

El-Halaby stressed the importance of revisiting the war’s lessons, particularly for younger generations, amid the challenges currently facing the region.

His remarks linked the value of historical understanding to the demands of the present, presenting the October experience as a source of lessons beyond its place in Egypt’s military history.

The message placed younger generations at the heart of that reflection, underscoring the importance of passing on the lessons of October as they face a changing regional environment.
