Yemeni Information Ministry Adviser Says Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia Reflect Desperation

Dr Faisal bin Mohammed al-Awadi, an adviser to Yemen’s Information Ministry, said repeated Houthi attacks on Saudi territory reflected what he described as desperation within the group.

Al-Awadi focused his assessment on the successive nature of the attacks, linking them to his view of the Houthis’ internal situation.

The ministry adviser referred to the group as a militia. His remarks presented the attacks as a sign of its difficulties, rather than an indication of strength.

The statement did not specify individual attacks or provide details about their timing, targets or consequences.
