Trump Threatens Iran With ‘Very Powerful Strike’ if Role in Flydubai Incident Is Confirmed

Trump threatened Iran with a “very powerful strike” if its involvement in an incident involving a Flydubai aircraft is established.

Speaking informally with reporters at the White House, Trump said he believed Iran was involved, citing information he had been hearing.

“I would say the answer is yes, based on what I’m hearing, but we’re working on this at this very moment,” he said when discussing Iran’s possible role.

His comments stopped short of confirming Iranian responsibility, with the threatened strike contingent on establishing the country’s involvement.
