Peace Key to Africa’s Development and Economic Integration, Egyptian Message Stresses

Peace is central to development and economic integration across Africa, according to Egyptian messages highlighted in connection with the Alamein Africa Forum.

Walid Atlam, a researcher at the National Center for Studies, said the forum had addressed the roots of the continent’s problems, including challenges linked to countries’ internal conditions.

His assessment placed the focus on underlying causes rather than the immediate manifestations of Africa’s difficulties. Domestic circumstances were among the issues he identified in discussing the forum’s approach.

The emphasis on peace frames stability and economic progress as connected priorities, presenting peace as a foundation for development and closer economic ties across the continent.
