Obama Criticizes Trump While Campaigning for Democrats Ahead of Midterms

Former US President Barack Obama attacked President Donald Trump’s administration while campaigning for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.

“These elections are our last, best chance to rein in some of the foolishness this administration is engaging in,” Obama said.

His remarks framed the vote as an opportunity to put limits on the administration, making opposition to Trump a central theme of his appeal.

Campaigning on behalf of Democratic candidates, Obama urged voters to see the midterms as a chance to challenge the direction of Trump’s presidency.
