Farida El Shobashi: Sisi Seeks a New Africa Built on Cooperation and Peace

Writer and journalist Farida El Shobashi said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s ambitions extend beyond building a new Egypt to helping shape a new Africa.

She described cooperation and peace as central to that vision, presenting the president’s efforts as reaching beyond Egypt’s borders.

El Shobashi also linked those ambitions to a broader international outlook, saying Sisi seeks a new world founded on the same principles.

Her remarks framed Egypt’s development and its engagement with Africa as parts of a wider vision, with cooperation rather than division at its heart.
