Sisi’s Messages Reflect Egypt’s Commitment to Africa, Academic Says

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s messages during a meeting with several African leaders reflect Egypt’s continued commitment to supporting the continent, according to Dr. Ahmed Abdel Dayem, a professor at the Faculty of African Studies.

Abdel Dayem linked the president’s remarks to Egypt’s ongoing support for Africa, describing them as an expression of that commitment.

His assessment focused on the significance of the messages Sisi conveyed to fellow African leaders, rather than on any specific initiative.

The brief account of Abdel Dayem’s comments did not detail the messages or identify the leaders who attended the meeting.
