More Than 7 Tonnes of Flour Seized in 24-Hour Supply Inspections

Egyptian Interior Ministry authorities seized more than seven tonnes of white flour and subsidised baladi flour during supply inspection campaigns carried out over 24 hours.

The campaigns formed part of the ministry’s continuing efforts to protect consumers and tighten oversight of markets.

Inspectors targeted attempts to manipulate bread prices, sell above officially set rates and fail to display prices to customers.
