Student Detained Over Alleged Harassment Outside School in Sohag

Egypt’s Interior Ministry said it had clarified the circumstances surrounding a social media post alleging that a person had harassed female students outside a school in Sohag governorate.

The post, which included photographs, concerned an incident outside a school in the jurisdiction of Al-Osairat police station.

A student was detained in connection with the alleged harassment. He said he had been outside the school to pick up his relatives.
