AI ‘Officer’ Arrested in Alexandria After Posing in Police Uniform Online

Police have arrested an alleged fraudster in Alexandria after images on his social media account portrayed him as a police officer.

The account holder used pictures of himself in an official uniform to convince followers that he belonged to the police force. The appearance was a disguise, not evidence of a genuine police role.

The case was described as involving an “AI officer,” although the brief account did not explain how artificial intelligence was used to produce the images.

The available details did not specify what the man sought from those he misled, whether anyone suffered financial losses or what charges he faces.
