Detention extended for man accused of killing wife with hammer in Shubra El Kheima

Investigating authorities in Qalyubia have renewed the detention of a man accused of killing his wife with a hammer following an argument in Shubra El Kheima.

The suspect will remain in custody for a further 15 days pending the investigation into the alleged killing.

He is also accused of concealing his wife’s body inside their home in the Manshiyet El Horreya area, which falls under the jurisdiction of Shubra El Kheima Second Police Station.

The details of the argument and the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body were not provided. The case remains under investigation.
