Heavy traffic slowed vehicle movement across Cairo and Giza on Wednesday morning, affecting streets, squares and major routes in both governorates.

Congestion was reported on key arteries in the two governorates, with vehicles moving slowly through the morning traffic.

The slowdown also extended to routes linking governorates, rather than being confined to streets within Cairo and Giza.
