Fire contained at old furniture warehouse in Qalyub, no casualties reported

Civil Protection crews in Qalyubia brought a fire under control at an old furniture warehouse in Qalyub, with no casualties reported.

The blaze broke out on Al-Dawaran Street in the Qalyub Al-Balad area of the city, in Qalyubia governorate.

The response was led by Brigadier General Ahmed Monea, director of Civil Protection in Qalyubia. Firefighters contained the blaze at the premises.

The cause of the fire and the extent of any damage to the warehouse were not immediately disclosed.
